General Info

Tucked into the lively streets of Santa Fe, Esquina Pizza / Copita Wine Bar at 403 S Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501, United States offers a relaxed spot where good pizza and an easygoing atmosphere come together naturally. From the moment you walk in, the vibe feels casual yet trendy, the kind of place where locals drop by for a quick bite while visitors settle in to explore the menu and soak up the welcoming energy.

During my visit, the first thing that stood out was how comfortable the space felt. The dining area is designed for dine-in service, with seating that’s accessible and welcoming for everyone, including wheelchair accessible seating. The layout encourages conversation, and it’s easy to see why the restaurant attracts both small groups and solo diners looking for a laid-back meal.

Of course, the real highlight here is the pizza. The Pepperoni Pizza is a standout dish and quickly became the centerpiece of my experience. The aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water when it arrives at the table. Each slice delivers that satisfying balance of crispy crust, rich sauce, and perfectly layered pepperoni. It’s the kind of pizza that reminds you why simple ingredients, when done right, create unforgettable flavors.

Beyond the signature pizza, the restaurant’s menu keeps things approachable and flexible. Alongside their pizzas, you’ll find small plates that make it easy to share with friends or try a few different bites in one visit. The menu isn’t overwhelming, which actually works in its favor-it keeps the focus on quality and consistency. Whether you're stopping by for a quick snack or planning a relaxed dinner, the variety fits different moods and appetites.

Another thing that adds to the charm of Esquina Pizza / Copita Wine Bar is its atmosphere. The space feels modern yet comfortable, striking that sweet spot between casual and trendy. It’s the type of restaurant where you can arrive in jeans after a day exploring Santa Fe and feel completely at home. At the same time, the lively ambiance gives the dining room a social buzz that makes the experience memorable.

The location also makes it convenient for both locals and travelers exploring Santa Fe. Being right on S Guadalupe Street means it’s easy to find and just as easy to add to a list of must-visit dining spots in the area. When browsing restaurant reviews around town, places like this stand out because they offer exactly what people hope for: great pizza, a welcoming environment, and a menu that keeps guests coming back.

Spending time here feels less like a quick stop at a pizza restaurant and more like discovering a neighborhood hangout. Between the satisfying Pepperoni Pizza, the shareable small plates, and the relaxed dine-in setting, Esquina Pizza / Copita Wine Bar delivers a dining experience that’s simple, enjoyable, and genuinely inviting.

What customers say?

“ I’d give this a 4.5 but I’ll bump it up to a 5 because half points aren’t allowed. Coming from NY state I have high pizza standards. The pictures did this place justice. Delicious wood fire pizza, great sauce and pepperoni. Very good crust. Garlic bread and the sauce that came with it was excellent as well. The vibe is chill and unique. Servers very nice and down to earth. If you appreciate good pizza you’ll enjoy this. ”

“ Exceptional pizza (Leo's) and possibly the best salad we've ever eaten. Superlative service all around but especially with recommending appropriate wine for each member of our party. Although a small venue, the intimacy contributed to the overall vibe of the delightful space. 10 out of 10. Will recommend and definitely return for many, many future meals. ”

“ After a long day of hiking in nearby Bandalier National Park, we were looking for a simple but tasty dinner. Esquina didn't disappoint! We were greeted on the patio by the owner who helped us get seats at the bar. (She's a delight if you get a chance to talk with her!) She and her staff then made sure we had drinks and food recommendations. We're big fans of dates, so the Nduja and Proscuitto stuffed dates sounded amazing (and were!). We went with the pistachio pesto pizza, and the crust was pillowy and delicious. We finished out the night with Tiramisu, and it was a wonderful end to a good meal. ”

“ I recently found a great pizza place while checking out recommendations in Santa Fe through “Santa Fe Gems” on Google Maps, which also mentioned Churro Bar. The pizza was cooked just right—neither too charred nor undercooked. The crust was satisfying, not too thick or thin, and the sauce and pepperoni were delicious. I saw positive reviews for the mushroom pizza and heard it was really good. Interestingly, while I was waiting for my order, two ladies came in, and one recommended the mushroom pizza to her friend. Overall, the service was quite fast. The staff member who helped me was friendly and even provided ranch dressing for the inconvenience of my online order not arriving promptly. He also suggested how to enjoy the hot honey with the pizza. I would definitely recommend this place, and next time, I plan to try the mushroom pizza. Just a heads-up: parking can be a bit tricky to find in this area. ”

“ We had 1.5 hours before our train ride and decided to get something to eat. Esquina Pizza is near the Sky Railway Train Excursion, making it super easy to reach. This pizza place makes tasty wood-fired pizza, garlic bread, and salads, plus they have a variety of wines to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxed, featuring a nice patio and a cozy indoor spot to sit. The server was nice, but the service was a tad "off". A group of maybe 10 (not including smaller children) was eating together, and they might have been too much for the server to handle. Besides that issue (which she couldn't do anything about), I would definitely go back to this restaurant. ”

“ Walked in w/gf the night before Thanksgiving, luckily Esquina was not that busy and we were able to get seated right away. Service, atmosphere, and food were great! We ordered a few apps, three pizzas, and one dessert. The pizza here is some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been on a pizza tour all over the western United States for about the past two years! Highly recommend Esquina! ”

“ Best pizza in Santa Fe! Nice fancy pizzas, but their Pepperoni is amazing! Great salads. The constantly changing curated wine selection is unique & always wonderful! ”

“ What an awesome find! The jazz music was such an enjoyable atmosphere, great attention to stylish detail in the restaurant, very attentive staff, and a creative menu. The food we ordered was DELICIOUS. Highly suggest the mushroom pizza, and there was a special pizza with peaches and prosciutto All very great and a wonderful experience. ”
